A Pig in Provence started out very interesting and well written then little by little it became dull and boring. I wanted to hear more about the people and the social interactions that occurred in Provence . I found that the continuing French recipes , without English translations , became tedious and uninteresting. Around the last 20% of the book I just got tired of reading it and just started turning pages . I am so thrilled this book is finished. I would only receive this book to people who are into the culinary arts, French cooking in particular. All others can pass it up and will not have missed anything special.
